| I met Martha in 1960 while studying at Yale and we were
married that same year. We have two children. My daughter Erin and her family live in Texarkana, Texas. She is a nurse manager of a geriatric psychiatric unit at the hospital there. Her husband Danny is chief of police. They have two boys, Graham age 16 and Daniel age 14. My son Nathan and his wife Amber live in Houston, Texas, where he practices law in a mid-size firm. Amber is a product development and marketing director for a major candle manufacturing company. They do not have any children. Martha was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1993 and died in January 1996. I am particularly blessed to have found Pat, and we have been married for eight years. She was widowed with four grown children, so together we now have six kids and six grandkids. I have been in Pinedale, Wyoming, for the last 20 years, with an occasional time now and then in warmer country. I taught in a university in North Carolina for three years before being drafted to return to Pinedale to run for prosecuting attorney. I am two years into that elected term and still teach graduate classes online for the North Carolina school. When I finish this term at the end of 2006, we hope to spend our remaining years in warmer country, either in Texas near kids or maybe in the hills of Tennessee. UPDATE 1-09-06 I have retired to teaching and we have moved from Wyoming to North Carolina. I am professor of law and management at Gardner Webb University, in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, and I am director of Broyhill school of Management.
